What's happening Pamilya? We're excited to announce our first successful open-mic event, Coffee House! We reached the Ab last Friday and jammed the night away! Sure the alcohol gave a sweeter buzz than usual, but that didn't stop us from singing our hearts out to every song that our performers sung.
Christina Andaya and Christine Laconsay welcomed everyone to the evening's event. Elfie followed with a terrific opener that would set the bar for the evening.
The night continued with performances by:
- The Red Plaid Boys (Louie and Reston); from piano jazz to Drake medleys, these boys made a statement.
- Maria; stringing melodic words in poetic fashion
- Niccole; soothed her audience with her sweet songs and voice
- Jon; jazzed up the guitar with a little throwback setlist
- Daniel; introduced a newly-written song and it was lit
- Ari; fashionably late and made it up with an incredible setlist
- Rainer; showed us that a DJ can be more than a turntable (he did a sick medley fyi)
- Julian; brought the 'Big Bunso Energy' to his fantastic performance
A huge shoutout to all our events coordinators: Christine, Sarah, and Alexis for always doing a fantastic job on giving the best events for the best crew! Thank you to the Ab for allowing us to use their space and equipment for an all-night-long-jam-sesh.
