Hello wonderful Estudiantes!
Throughout the school year, we were able to have Tagalog classes taught by our pinakamagaling (best) Prof. Marielle! It was great to see students from different backgrounds ready to learn a new language, despite their busy schedules!
In our first Tagalog class, we learned many new words and phrases including the favourite, "Ikaw ay maganda" which translates to "You are beautiful"!
We also learned about different aspects of our language in our second class, reflexive verbs (such as akin, sa’yo, kanya, kanila, amin), as well as how to use the present tense in motion!
In a sentence: Sabi niya sa akin mag-aral ako nang Tagalog! (He/she told me to study Tagalog!)
Thank you to teacher Marielle who taught us one of the many beautiful languages in our beloved Philippines, and thank you to all of you who came out and learned Tagalog with us. We hope to see you again!
